Scanners will no longer be able to freely change the default Sales Channel during scanning starting April 8th.
  • To make an adjustment, a Scan Lead, AGM, or GM badge must be scanned.
  • New badges will include an encrypted barcode required to approve these changes.
  • Updated badges with barcodes will be available before this feature goes live.
LearnUpon trainings have been released in advance to allow you to familiarize yourself with this new process.

Hope your March went well and that you are all having a great week so far. Here are the most recent updates:
🚨 Biggest Change: Scanners
Starting April 1, 2026, scanners can NO LONGER edit MSRP/Retail Price during scanning.
  • If the system-generated price looks incorrect, set the item aside and notify a Lead/Manager.
  • Leads/Managers will update the price on the Products page (updates globally).
  • Once corrected, scanning can resume.
  • If the price is $0.00 or unknown, scanners can still enter it manually.
Enhancements 🚀 :
  • Canny Feedback Notifications: Bug reports and comments submitted via the Feedback Module now sync and display notifications directly in PIST.
  • Spanish Support: PIST now supports Español. ¡Bienvenido al equipo!
Fixes 🧩:
  • Membership Credits: Fixed issues with Military and Standard Buyers Club transfer/hold credits.

  • Checkout Search: Scan a customer’s QR/ID code to instantly filter and locate them in the queue.
  • Invoice PDFs: Customer Service and Leads can now create, print, and share invoices as PDFs.
  • Premium Plus Indicators: Now visible during Check-In and Checkout.
  • Logistics Update: Trailer column added to the Open Trucks table.
Fixes 🧩:
  • In-Transit Items: Resolved items stuck in IN TRANSIT status.
  • Buyer’s Assurance Restriction: Damaged or partial items can no longer have Buyer’s Assurance added.
  • Stale Inventory: Items past pickup deadline are now properly recycled and rescanned—no more stagnant inventory.

Enhancements 🚀 :
  • Turbo Shipping (PIST 2.0): Early testing successful. New features include filtering to only show your location’s Turbo shipping requests AND the ability to print ALL labels at once. Employee rollout coming soon.
  • Transfer Safety Nets: Added alerts if a transfer container from Location A → B is mistakenly inventory-scanned at Location C.
  • Auction Box Creation: Scanners can now create a new Auction Box directly during the scanning process.
  • Pallet MSRP Visibility: Total MSRP now displays correctly when viewing a Pallet ID in Inventory Search.
  • Truck Source Attributes: Added new attributes to support Smart Score and Pallet Threshold calculations.
  • Buffer Bay Allocation Table: New table added to Location → Dashboard.
  • New Premium+ and VIP Memberships are now available.
Fixes 🧩:
  • Lot Pulling: Leads and Managers can once again pull lots as needed.
  • YinzBinz Pricing: Corrected a one-day offset caused by the Daylight Saving Time change.
  • Pickup Deadline Consistency: App and website pickup deadlines now match the dates shown in PIST.
  • Scanning Messages: Blue informational messages during the Sales Channel step are now suppressed.
  • Parent/Child Status Sync: Fixed status syncing between pallets and the inventory within them.

Enhancements 🚀 :
  • New Return Status – Buyer’s Assurance Auto-Refund: Added return reason: “BUYER’S ASSURANCE – Auto Refund when Restock took place.” If a customer with Buyer’s Assurance fails to pick up before the deadline, the next inventory scan while in RESTOCK status will automatically issue a full refund (minus the BA fee).
  • Transfer Logic Update: Transfers are now building-based rather than tied to product type.
Fixes 🧩:
  • Turbo Pickup (Removal): Page now correctly shows customers with multiple turbo purchases of the same lot.
  • Closed Auctions Tab: Now properly displays results.
  • Scanning Sales Channel Label: Updated to show “Pallet/Auction Box” instead of just “Pallet” for accurate selection.
  • Logistics – Truck Creation: “Other Locations” and “Product Category” dropdowns are now alphabetized.
  • Pickup Deadline Alignment: Latest app version and PIST now display matching Pickup Deadline values.
  • Hold Date Calculation: Manual/additional holds now properly account for weekends and closed days.

Fixes 🧩:
  • Transfer Inventory Email Notifications: Customers should only receive pickup emails after their transferred items are location-scanned onto a shelf, not when the transfer container is inbound scanned.
  • Missing Tracker Update: Transferred inventory should not appear in the Missing Tracker while awaiting location scanning.
  • Pallet Scan Safeguard: Inventory scans must exclude closed pallets and alert the employee that the pallet must be RESCANNED if necessary.
  • Logistics Visibility: Trailer ID now displays on both Pending Trucks and Open Trucks views in the Logistics module.

  • Location Dashboard: New dashboard in the Location module displaying Hours of Operation, Scan Goals, and other key metrics.
  • Pickup Deadline Visibility: Now shown in the Customer Purchase History view, Inventory Search side drawer, and Checkout processing page.
Fixes 🧩:
  • Old Inventory Handling: Fixed issue where unpicked items left on shelves were not properly routed through the Recycle/Rescan process.
  • Truck Date Format: Corrected error where trucks saved with an invalid date format caused a blank page.
  • Pallet Editing: When accessing a pallet via Inventory Search, users can now add or remove photos.
  • LearnUpon Integration: Resolved issues when creating new Employees/PIST users.

Enhancements 🚀:
  • Pallet/Bin Scanning Logic: If a pallet or container is closed while another employee is scanning into it, the scanner now errors and prompts them to select a different open container.
Fixes 🧩:
  • Transfer Containers: Fixed an issue where only the first 100 items were visible; all items now display correctly.
  • Closed Pallets: Employees can now view recently closed pallets, reprint labels, and review pallet contents.
  • RESTOCK Notifications: Customer emails are now sent only within the configured time window.

Enhancements 🚀 :
  • Facility Inspection Forms: Now built into PIST and accessible via the Feedback module.
  • Product Recalls Page: New AI-powered page pulls recall data from government sites, with manual entry also supported.
  • Auction Box Release: Think “mini pallets.” Scanners can create auction boxes and scan in large quantities of similar items for auction instead of palletizing them.
Fixes 🧩:
  • Pallets Page: Now correctly displays Pending Pallets, Pallet Buffer, and Closed Pallets.
  • RESTOCK Pallet Rescans: Fixed to process correctly and roll into the next day’s auction.
  • Tax-Exempt Accounts: No longer charged tax during YinzBinz checkout.
  • Scanning Process: Removed use of the “Factory Sealed” attribute.
  • Employee Creation: Default location now saves correctly.
  • Turbo Invoicing Emails: Cleaned up with a proper table layout and single-line quantities.

  • TURBO for PIST 2 is on the way! Phase 1 out of 3 has been tested and completed. image
  • Edit Individual Lots within Pallets. When a Pallet is still Active, Employee's can go in and remove wrongfully entered inventory.
Fixes 🧩:
  • Check In SPEED UP! Andrew waved his magic wand and got this process sped up.
  • Truck Bay Assignments where certain trucks wouldn't be accepted in certain bays.
  • Customer Service and Managers can now successfully help send Password Reset Requests to customers via PIST.
  • Fixes regarding categories of taxed items in various regions.

  • Pickup Deadline Field: Now visible on the Invoice page and in the customer profile (Awaiting Pickup section). More placements coming soon.

Fixes 🧩:
  • Recall Alerts: Faster, more prominent notifications. Scanners are immediately alerted when a recalled ASIN or UPC is scanned, and the listing channel auto-selects Destroy.
  • Checkout Queue: Customers who complete partial pickups are now properly removed from the checkout queue.
